Responsible Technology

Useful technology should help people do meaningful work with more care, not less.

AskTQ exists because thoughtful technology can make strategic support more accessible. We also know the tools behind that support have real tradeoffs, from privacy and accuracy to energy use, bias, accessibility, hardware, data centers, and human labor.

Our responsible-technology practice keeps evolving. We keep learning, make deliberate choices where we have control, and communicate our claims with care.

Use technology with purpose

AskTQ is designed to help people move real work forward. We use technology at the level that best supports the task, the people involved, and the outcome they are trying to reach.

Protect context and privacy

The documents, decisions, and organizational context people bring to AskTQ can be sensitive. Privacy, permission, and responsible handling of information are part of the product decisions we make.

Keep people in the loop

AskTQ can help surface options, organize information, strengthen language, test assumptions, and make work easier to move. But an answer that ignores your capacity, community, constraints, or lived context can be technically impressive and practically useless. Human judgment still matters, especially when decisions affect people, money, opportunity, or community.

Be clear about what we know

Useful answers make room for uncertainty. When something needs verification, more context, or professional review, AskTQ should make that visible and support the next step.

What that looks like today

Responsible technology shows up in the everyday decisions behind how AskTQ is built and how we talk about what it does.

We describe AI use with appropriate environmental and operational context.

We make environmental claims only when credible evidence supports them.

We reuse relevant context where it makes sense so users can keep building from the work they already shared.

We design for clear progress and purposeful interaction.

We keep human judgment visible when a decision has meaningful consequences.

We treat privacy, bias, accessibility, accuracy, labor, and environmental impact as connected responsibilities.

About environmental measurement

We would rather be accurate than impressive.

The environmental impact of an AI interaction can vary with the model, hardware, data center, workload, location, and other factors that are not fully visible from inside AskTQ.

Our environmental reporting will use credible measurement methods that reflect AskTQ's actual use. As measurement capabilities improve, we will explain what changed and how the numbers were produced.

Questions Answered by AskTQ

Every answer helps someone move from stuck to clear.

Every question represents someone trying to move something forward.

We track this because it tells us people are using AskTQ to work through real decisions, plans, documents, and challenges. Environmental and impact claims are based only on measures that directly support them.

A living commitment

If we learn better, we should do better.

AskTQ will change. The technology will change. Our understanding of responsible use will change too. We will update this page when our practices, safeguards, or understanding materially change.

Built for people doing the work

The work is human. The technology should feel that way too.

AskTQ is built around the people, teams, communities, and decisions behind the documents and deadlines.
